Suunto Zoop Review
I have a Suunto Zoop. I have had nothing but problems with the software package and with the data I download.
The one thing that I can't figure out is about every 5th dive or so I download, the data shows my depth at some insane depth. Today for example I did a 2nd dive of the day that never went below 55 feet, yet I download the data and it shows the entire dive was at depths between 160 ft and 180 ft. I may be pretty good, but I'm not that good! :)
Now the part that throws me is the data on the first dive looks fine. No issue. And if I go back through the dives I have downloaded over the past 2 years this happens about once ever 5-10 dives.
No change in settings. Didn't touch the the thing between dives today. Same computer I'm downloading to, so no trigger there.
Any thoughts? Has anyone run into this using a Zoop?

Mar 21, 2016 You need to block outgoing connections from the program to stop it authenticating. If it does manage to authenticate it will quickly realize you are a law avoiding pirate. You should only have to block the internet connection when using the program, or any of its extensions. Oct 24, 2017 Block outgoing calls? Simply refrain from making them. If you like you can turn off cellular communication but keep WiFi on by turning on Airplane Mode and then turn on WiFi (in Settings).
