When I try ionic cordova run android and then I see this 'PANIC: Missing emulator engine program for 'x86' CPU.' Expected behavior: This will launch a real device or virtual device to run the app. I've been having a similar issue on my Mac. This is however only for the x86 image variants. I have no issues with arm images and am able to run them via CLI. While native AMD support has been available for a long time on Mac and Linux, this was not the case when using Windows, where the Android Emulator was bound to use software emulation. 1>PANIC: Missing emulator engine program for 'x86' CPU. From what I can tell, the emulator from the tools folder has been obsoleted in favour of the one in the emulator folder. Is there a way I can let VS know about this?

Opening the emulator through Android Studio works fine so I played around with the command a bit and the result is that the -engine classic flag is causing this, otherwise the emulator starts without problems.

Trying to run the emulator results in PANIC: Missing emulator engine program for 'x86' CPU. Looking around, it seems the emulator is in a seperate package, so I've installed android-emulator from the AUR. Running emulator -avd my_device_name still complains about a missing engine for x86. Running the file (/opt/android-sdk/emulator/emulator64-x86) manually at least results in a new error:
Label making program for mac. Which is where my google-fu completely fails me. The only mention of similar errors are either for windows, or tell me to (re-)install QT5, which I did.
