This program was designed by ITS Teaching and Learning to provide ubiquitous computing capabilities and location-specific services to the UNC Chapel Hill community.The CCI Color printer installers allow for printing to the two color print stations (Undergraduate Library and Health Sciences Library). WASHINGTON, March 27, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The IU-UNC LogMBA (https://www.idb.org/programs/iu-idb-mba-program) program recognized its eleventh class of graduates on March 23, 2017 at the Army and Navy Club in Washington, D.C. The 59th Superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Lt. Gen. Robert L. Caslen, Jr., delivered the commencement address for the ceremony. He acknowledged the importance of the graduates' commitment to continuing their education in order to develop the skills necessary to analyze and address today's complex global challenges.

'In the midst of your busy lives you didn't settle for mediocrity. You wanted to increase your capacity to contribute to your organization, your profession, and your community,' said Caslen. 'Continue to strive for this same level of excellence, and remember that no matter where this degree takes you, it's up to you to make it matter.'
The graduates earned a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University'sKelley School of Business and a Certificate in either Global Supply Chain Leadership or Global Strategic Management and Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School. The Institute for Defense and Business (IDB - www.IDB.org) manages the program.

I am confident that these graduates will use what they have learned to continue to advance their organization, their industry, and their career,' said MG (Ret) Jim Hodge, President of the IDB. The MBA partnership program is a two-year degree program in which students work together to master the global business knowledge and leadership skills needed to be successful in today's complex, globally responsive organizations. Approximately 80 percent of the academic work is accomplished online, punctuated by four custom-designed residency sessions. This class attended two-week long sessions in Chapel Hill, N.C., a one-week session at Bloomington, IN, as well as a ten-day study residency throughout Europe.
College Commencement Programs
During the program's final capstone course, students demonstrated the application of their business acumen skills to real world issues by helping to improve business operations for Team Red White and Blue, a veteran focused non-profit, and LifeScience Logistics, a pharmaceutical third party logistics provider.

- For demonstrated leadership during his MBA studies, Lt. Col John Tran received the E.B. Leedy Award, named in honor of the late Major General Leedy, U.S. Army (Ret.), a key member of the team that founded LOGTECH.
- For demonstrated and future potential for contribution to the field of defense logistics, Ms. Callie Lake received the William T. Powell Jr. Scholarship award, named in honor of the late founder and first president of the Institute for Defense and Business. The scholarship, provided by Indiana University and the Institute for Defense and Business, is for continued master-level studies resulting in a Master of Science dual degree.
